Łapanów is a little village about 50 kilometers from Cracow. It has some touristic potential – recreation is being developed by the

land management of the lake. The main idea of the project was to build an attractive market and stimulate social activism. An important task was also to organize the square plate with the use of modern, energy-efficient solutions, the introduction of elements tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and also to highlight the important places.

Composition includes the major directions: north side opens to the office of the municipality, to the south leading to the river while providing a connection to the recreational area located on the lake. The square was connected with surrounding buildings using the same material as the square flooring. Next to the public buildings there is a space for restaurants with summer gardens. There is also a designed pool, which is an integral part of the square with a mild depression. The tank also serves as a fountain: illuminated jets create an interesting illumination of light and sounds.
